The State of the Counties database provides ready access to 40+ indicators of community well-being, made available for each of the 100 counties.
County commissioners from across the state selected these indicators as the best available data to portray important county and community characteristics.
Data users may select up to three counties for comparison purposes, and may choose the indicator for any given available year. A summary description of the indicator will display upon its selection from the drop-down menu. Users may filter the indicators by category of interest for quicker access.
After selecting the county, the indicator, and the year, the View Report button will return a separate document that graphically displays the data point, its full description, and its source.
